2024 Results Report
The main achievements under the revised 2022–2026 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) were reviewed during the Steering Committee meeting held on March 25, 2025, in Brazzaville. The session was co-chaired by Mr. Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister of Planning, Statistics and Regional Integration, and Mr. Abdourahamane Diallo, UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of the Congo, in the presence of UN agency heads, national experts, and representatives from the United Nations System.
The meeting also served as a platform to define priorities for 2025. Specifically, it focused on reviewing the fourth year of UNDAF implementation (2024)—drawing lessons, identifying areas for improvement, and outlining perspectives. Participants also presented key planned activities for 2025 aligned with strategic priorities and signed the 2025 Biennial Work Plans (PTAs).
The total budget of the revised UNSDCF is estimated at USD 101,560,152, of which USD 38,170,346 (37.6%) are secured funds, and USD 63,389,806 (62.4%) remain to be mobilized. The UN Country Team’s joint partnership and resource mobilization strategy will be updated to provide more effective joint support for the implementation of the 2022–2026 National Development Plan (PND).
The UNSDCF serves as a planning and coordination tool for all United Nations interventions in support of national development efforts, contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and other international commitments.
The Steering Committee is one of the mechanisms established to enhance the impact of UN interventions by strengthening the synergy and complementarity of actions taken by UN agencies in Congo. The coordination and oversight of the UNSDCF is structured around two key mechanisms: the Joint Steering Committee and the Results Groups.
